Furniture (#1)

Our new living room furniture arrived today!!! But not without a minor glitch...which Tanner and I were anticipating after Charlie and Angie's furniture delivery experience several months ago. Whew - let's not talk about that unfortunate situation.

Anyway, instead of receiving a sofa and loveseat, we were blessed with two sofas. Not a problem when you count the number of buns that will some day be sitting on them (note that I said "number", not "size"). However, it's a bit crammed in our little living room area. We debated keeping the two sofas but ultimately decided we'll take what we originally ordered. The loveseat will be arriving in a few weeks. In the mean time, we get to keep the extra sofa and treat it like it's our own. No comment.

Oh yes - we also got a coffee table and end table, both of which we ordered :)

Check back later for a few more pictures. We went on a shopping spree in Roch this afternoon and got some decor to help warm up the house.

Summer Time

Long time no blog! We've been busy getting in the summer groove the past couple of weeks. In fact, Tanner is out adjusting the sprinklers in the yard this very minute. All of our recently-planted shrubs, flowers, and other forms of vegetation are still alive and blooming. Hooray! So far so good.

I am also still alive and blooming (ha ha), in part thanks to the Owatonna Country Club pool; it's a great place to cool off in this hot weather. Here's what I look like on my new towel (in case you were wondering):

I usually don't have my sweatpants on while I'm pool-side, but I do always have them on when I'm couch-side. In any case, you've probably noticed by now that this towel is HUGE! I love it. It's actually called the "Towel for Two"....perfect! When you're growing a baby, you definitely need a towel for two. Right?! You can't see my baby very well in this picture, but he/she is there! It won't be long before he/she takes up more of that towel space. We'll have some fun!
