Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers out there! I'm lucky because Miles usually acts like
every day is Mother's Day... of course he IS only two years old, so it's easy for him to turn on the charm and make me feel especially important :) A nice treat today was hearing Miles wake up at 7:30am yelling "MAMA! I'm UP!", then not a peep from him for another hour. Apparently he decided to go back to sleep. That's my boy! I'm really really really hoping this next baby likes to sleep as much as his/her big brother does...
Speaking of baby (in case you haven't heard), we are looking forward to baby "G2" to join us in October! That's partly why it's been so long since I've blogged. I couldn't get myself to do it because in order to create another post, I'd have to first read/see the last entry about burgers. Blegh. No more blogging about food for a while.
If you're wondering what we've been up to lately, here's a recap:
Miles and daddy have been having many loop-de-loop races.

We made a trip to St. Peter to visit grandparents and make a birthday card for...

Ethan and Owen!! They turned 1!! Wooot wooooot!!

Another thing we've been wooot woooooting! about is daddy's hole-in-one! We're very proud of him. He sunk the ball into hole #11 at the OCC.

To kick off Mama's Day Weekend, we met Grandma Doreen and her crew for Pizza in Mankato on Friday night. Then on Saturday, we kept up the busy pace by having these guys over for brunch -

Grandma Jill and Uncle Charlie were here too, but they managed to avoid the picture.
And finally, Miles' Big Boy Bed has now been converted to a Super Big Big Boy Bed. We decided to raise him up a few feet and he's thrilled...mostly because now he can sit on his bed and see out the window.
It's the small things in life that we need to notice more often :)
