Unfortunately many of the animals were napping while we were there. It wasn't a bad day to snooze in the sun, so we really couldn't blame them. Miles and daddy were particularly disappointed in the lack of activity in the otter house, though. Last summer when we visited, the otters were completely nutso and Miles thought it was the funniest thing he'd ever seen. This time, they were bums.

The coyotes were the busiest guys around, probably because a crew of zoo workers were nearby with food. All of the hussle and bussle from the coyotes got Miles excited. He wanted to see MORE PUPPIES!

Handsome boy in his baseball cap. When did he grow up?!

Checking out the baby cows.

A ticked off turkey (some rowdy young teens got him all fired up. I almost ruffled my feathers at the kids, too...).

It looks like Miles is in the firing zone of a daddy toot right here, but that's not the case. Tanner strained a muscle in his lower back while golfing Saturday morning, and this is his new look. Don't you agree that it's worthy of being posted to the blog?!

Cute little bear cub.

Cougar siting!!! Roar.

(If Miles were 15 years older, he would have rolled his eyes over that shot. Instead, he laughed. Funny mama! Roar.)

There's a lot of cuteness in these photos, but your belly may be #1. :-) Looks like a great day!
I love how your belly looks--can't wait to meet the current resident!
The picture of Miles behind Tanner is a hoot (if not a toot)--Miles looks like he's being blown backwards! Hope Tanner's back is better. Turns out he, Grandpappy, and GGpa Charlie all have back injuries. GGpa Charlie seems to be recovering the fastest.
Love the photos! Give G2 a pat for us and squeeze Miles!
Cute pics of the little guy(Miles) and his Mommy and Daddy, too. If you and Miles want to see turkeys, just come to our house. We have MANY resident turkey that visit our yard all year round. Cute, tummy :)
