It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood

This last day of June 2008 proved to be a beauty. We decided to visit the birdies and ducks down by the "river" (too big for a stream/creek, too small for a river if you're from the MN River valley...but some locals still call it a river.).

We also watched the water rapidly flow through the dam and under the bridge.

And we went swinging. Sort of.

Maybe we'll venture out again tomorrow night when a certain little guy isn't quite so sleepy.

I don't think there's a chance that Miles will remember the river or swinging...good thing you took pictures!

You need to get young Milford out early in the morning, long before he gets worn out by the busy activities of daycare. He looks pretty zonked!

How funny!!! Miles leans to the right in the Bob, Hannah to the left, so if we set them next to each other in the right order, they can hold each other up!

I thought that was snow in the first picture! Turns out it's just part of the mighty river.

I was going to say, the snow should all be melted there. It is here and you are WAY closer to the equator than we are.
