For Charlie

For those of you who read Charlie's blog, I'm sure you enjoyed reading about his latest idea of having Meatball Wednesday. Considering his Donut Tuesday routine, it would make more sense that he'd have Donut Hole Wednesday - seems like a much tastier ball to me, but whatever. If he prefers meatier balls, so be it.

We happened to have the same meatballs in our freezer. As Chuck explained, these ain't no ordinary meatballs. They are Aidells Hawaiian style (with pineapple) chicken meatballs. Healthier than beef or pork meatballs? Perhaps. More delicious than beef or pork meatballs? Absolutely.
Chuck and Angie followed a recipe on the bag of the 'ball bag, which called for skewering the 'balls with red onion, red pepper, and green pepper. Since he didn't have any sticks for making kabobs, he just cooked up the 'balls and veggies in a little extra teryaki sauce and served the concoction over rice. That sounded like a great way to eat Aidells meatballs, and so we did...

I tried to one-up my older bro by adding mandarin oranges and sesame seeds, as well as an egg roll on the side, but his still looked better.
Next time I'm bringing my 'balls to you, Chuck!

Here was Miles' version...again, not the most appealing plate of food, but he tried it and that's all we can ask for these days. (notice that he also scored bread and banana chunks. Lucky kid.)

Sounds (and looks) deeelicious! Did Miles get a squirt of Ready Whip on his meatballs?

My thought exactly--give the baby some whipped cream and he'll be happy!

Cute background for your blog!
