Miles had a good time showing Great Grandma Helen his room, the new deck, and how to color the sidewalk with chalk. He slowed down long enough to take this nice photo --

Then he and Grandpa Dave had to put on their glasses for a closer look at a very cool sticker.
We look forward to seeing Great Grandma Helen again this coming weekend for the annual Turkey Day festivities. A picnic in the park to celebrate Grandpa Dave's birthday and eat cake, followed by a parade...life doesn't get much better when you're almost two!(p.s. I'm not ignoring the fact that it was Tanner's birthday this past Monday. I actually remembered this year, and we celebrated with a lovely family supper at home. As soon as youtube digests the video I'm trying to upload, I'll post it on here. Stay tuned!)

Miles was the perfect host, making GG-Helen feel very welcome. He included her in playing all of his favorite games and talked with her nonstop. She enjoyed picking Miles up from school and getting to see the Owatonna homestead. I think Miles enjoyed showing off a bit for someone new..!! Thanks for having us over, we all had a great time. Dave
I love the family group with GG Helen, Dave, Tanner, and Miles. So sweet. And, I have to say that Miles and Dave look pretty dang good in their fancy eyeglasses!
