There's a lot of Christmas blogging to do here, but I'm a bit preoccupied. Miles was diagnosed with pink eye and his very first ear infection on December 23rd. He took amoxicillin like a champ for 9 days (that gross pink stuff continues to be pure deliciousness for kids), and on the 10th day (yesterday) he woke up with a rash from head to toe. It was even worse today...
...so we brought him to the doctor to find out of there was something we could do to scare the rash away. He's already turning a corner after just one dose of some new (and grossly delicious) memmy. Wooo hooooo!
On the bright side, he was extra snuggly today.

Poor baby! That looks just awful. Good thing he's got snuggly parents and a snuggly blanket to make him feel better. Hang in there, Miles!
Poor little guy. That is exactly what happened to Cole when he took that medicine when he was sick a few years ago. Glad Miles is feeling better though!
Please give spotty Miles lots of smooches. Maybe he'd like to pretend he's a Dalmatian puppy? I'm glad he's doing better, too.

woah! what a TERRIBLE rash. is that in reaction to the medicine or from something else? poor kid. callum's had pink eye and a huge number of ear infections, but never anything like that rash. does it bother miles? what sad pictures!
Oh, poor Miles! That looks like a nasty itchy rash. Good thing there is something to fix it. It's been a rough winter for all of us, Miles. Spring is coming, buddy. Just think...barbecue, golf, swimming, bike riding. This will seem like a bad dream.
Thanks for the nice comments, everyone. Miles appreciated you expressing your concern! The rash was indeed from amoxicillin, but fortunately it was not very itchy so he wasn't too miserable. He mostly just looked funny. The good news is that he's all better now, and the ear infection is GONE!
