A visit from Great Grandpa Charlie

We took a break from basement-finishing business (will post about that stuff later) to play with Great Grandpa Charlie today. What made the day even more fun was that Grandma Jill, Grandpappy, Uncle Charlie, Auntie Angie, Baby Ethan, and Baby Owen came too! It was a busy and fabulous afternoon.

Miles enjoyed sharing his toys (but not space - his favorite command today was "move") and we look forward to the next play date with Grandpa Charlie.

Owen had fun taking a spin on Miles' trike. Fortunately there were no major crashes. He's a good driver!

and then played "heads" with Miles. I won't tell you who won.

We managed to get a couple of group photos. The first one was with a very excited Uncle Charlie.

The second one was with Grandma Jill - since she's Great Grandpa Charlie's daughter, it only makes sense that she hopped in for the shot. (The only way we got her to agree to participate, though, was by letting her hold a kid.)

Yay for family gatherings! We look forward to having Lead Cousin Hannah in on the action in just a couple of weeks!!
