A Happy Day in Baby Land

Miles had a great day at school! He talked with some friends, smiled at his teachers, and actually stayed awake the whole time. Way to go, buddy! Class was set up differently today; rather than having mommy + baby time, then splitting up (babies go with the baby teachers and mommies go with the mommy teacher) we all stayed together and learned infant massage techniques. It was very cool, and Miles seemed to enjoy it very much. We kept the diaper on (he's had a series of squirts lately) and focused on his cute chubby legs and stubby little toes. I learned that a little olive oil goes a LONG way with babies!

It was nice to have so much one-on-one time with my boy today - you know, without the phone ringing, dryer buzzing, and bottles waiting to be washed. We had some very special time together this afternoon, and I loved every minute. I'm not ready to go back to work :(

Time to dry my eyes and post some pictures of Mr. Miles with his baby friends. These little peanuts are all so sweet...definitely keepers! We've gotten to know them really well during the past 12 weeks (or 6 weeks, or 8 weeks, depending on the respective baby's age!) and look forward to lots of play dates when ECFE comes to an end.
