After 37 years of wedded bliss with Gustavus, Dr. Potts is handing over his stir stick. Putting away the beaker. Sealing the cap on the hydrochloric acid. Folding up his lab coat. You get the idea... But can you believe it? Dad is really retiring.I like this picture of him. Notice his hair hasn't changed much - still black and relatively thick. Maybe a few gray strands, but that's expected after raising the Potts kids. Especially the two older ones.
We love you, dad, and can't wait to celebrate with you!

Hey, stickin' with a place that long is like a marriage.
Don't get any ideas though, Ma. Your 37 year anniversary with dad won't be an excuse to "retire" from HIM.
Where did you get that old picture? It looks like the organic lab in the background and might be from 1973 or 74.
