Hi

Finally, some pictures of Miles at gymnastics. These were taken his first night of class. He has since been to 4 classes (3 more to go), but in all honesty...night #1 looked a lot like night #4. He is doing a great job of walking on the balance beam, swinging on the bars, jumping on the trampoline, and running wild with his new friends.
Here's Miles focusing on the balance beam...a rare moment. So rare, in fact, that I might not ever capture it on film again. He loves the balance beam but doesn't love the amount of concentration that is required. We've talked about how he stays on it much better when he keeps his eyes on the beam and watches where he's walking. Hmmmmm! What a concept.

Jumping down the awesome trampoline.

And walking back to the starting line!

Back on the homefront, the boys have been doing a lot of reading.

We've been catching up on laundry.

And eating! Oh yes, we're doing lots of eating.

Some of us are a little better at it than others, but that's okay.

It's making for some good conversation.

Check back later for some pictures from our trip to the zoo with cousins E-dawg and O-man!

Great pictures! Be patient with Miles. He'll do just fine. There's a lot of natural athletic ability in the gene pool.

Looks like Miles is staying true to his adorable, free-spirited nature in gymnastics class. I'm still cracking up over his header off the couch during our Skype session the other night. Good thing he's got all that natural athletic ability or he'd have ended up in the emergency room!
:-) Hang in there with the solid foods, Westy. You'll have it down in no time!
