A sneak peek

We tried out the Halloween costumes tonight by going to a spooktacular party at the Country Club. Both boys enjoyed getting into character...

Miles was The Count (red eyes and all!) -

and Weston was The World's Cutest Bumblebee (not an easy thing, considering bumblebee costumes seem to be popular among one year olds) -

Except for taking Miles through the haunted house (total disaster), it was a fun way to ease into all of the Halloween festivities taking place in the coming days. There will be lots of ghoulish behavior in St. Peter this weekend as all 6 cousins will be together, mostly under one roof. Then there's a party at school on Monday, followed by trick-or-treating on Monday night. Uffdah! Let's hope the weather cooperates.

Speaking of weather, we enjoyed what was probably the last day of 60 degree temps for 2011 by going to the park. Miles recently decided that he likes pushing his brother in the swing. Fortunately, Weston doesn't mind.

Sometimes I mind, though....yikes!

Besides swinging, Weston has learned that slides are a lot of fun too. At first he wasn't so sure -

but then he couldn't get in enough trips!

Such fun! Time to get ready to hunker down for the winter, do some growing, then go tackle the playground equipment even MORE next Spring :)

Adorable photos! Great Halloween costumes! Tell Miles he looks very spooky as the "Count". Have a great Halloween weekend and fun "trick-or-treating"!

A classic post. What a couple of cutie patooties! Better teach Westy to hang onto that swing!
